Fine Art Prints
My first attempt at art was to color in the back seats of my father's brand new car, the white upholstery was so boring. Although being disciplined discouraged my three dimensional art, my mother soon introduced me to pencil and paper. My need to stay busy translated into constant drawing.

Growing up near Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, I was inspired by the Wyeths, N.C. - the illustrator, and Andrew - the painter. I was naturally adept with watercolors and became interested in painting. I was formally trained at Philadelphia College of Art in illustration, and while I learned many different mediums, I always come back to my favorite: watercolor. The attempt to control something so fluent is challenging. It always gets its own way, leaving me surprised and sure that there is magic in the paint and paper.
